Nebraska OLB Breon Dixon Has A Transfer Decision

Now, the former Ole Miss transfer is leaving his second school, Nebraska.Dixon, a former four-star recruit, entered his name to the NCAA transfer portal earlier this month. He was one of a number of Huskers linebackers to leave the program.He won’t be heading to another Power Five program. Instead, he’s going to the junior college ranks, before reemerging at another Division I school.Nebraska linebacker Breon Dixon is set to transfer to Iowa Western Community College.From the Omaha World-Herald: Former Nebraska outside linebacker Breon Dixon will transfer to Iowa Western Community College, Reivers coach Scott Strohmeier confirmed Tuesday night.Dixon will attend classes at IWCC starting in July, Strohmeier said. He had previously appeared in four games — all on special teams — for the Huskers in 2018 before leaving the program after spring camp.Dixon transferred in to Nebraska from Ole Miss. In high school, he wound up with the Rebels after being committed to Georgia. He appeared in four games for the Huskers this season, primarily contributing on special teams.In high school, he was ranked No. 257 overall, and No. 11 among inside linebackers in the 2017 recruiting class.[Omaha World-Herald]last_img read more
