first_imgDarren Fletcher has warned Scotland: The hard work starts now.Gordon’s Strachan’s side are third in their Euro 2016 qualifying group, level on points with Poland and just one behind leaders Germany. And with two countries qualifying automatically, and the third placed team going into a play-off, the Scots have an excellent chance of reaching the European Championship finals for the first time in 20 years. But West Bromwich Albion midfielder Fletcher insists he and his team-mates can take nothing for granted. He told the Sports Bar: “It’s gone well so far and at the halfway stage we’re really happy with the position we’re in.“We’re right in contention for automatic qualification but the hard works starts now because we’ve got to do it all again in the second half of the campaign.“It’s a very tough group but it will be a big disappointment if we don’t qualify.”last_img read more
